Zöller & Co. - "Escape Forward" (CD)

Jürgen Zöller has written 50 years of rock'n'roll history from his drummer's stool. Supermax, James Last, Franz Morak, Reinhard Fendrich, Inga Rumpf and BAP are just some of his milestones. He played drums for BAP for 30 years before he had the idea to start a whole new chapter in his life and founded a super band.

On September 16th, 2016, the debut album "Flucht nach vorn" (GMO / Rough Trade / Zebralution) by "Zöller & Konsorten" was released, consisting of Jürgen Zöller (BAP), Steffie Stephan (Udo Lindenberg's Panikorchester), Christof Stein Schneider (Fury in the Slaughterhouse) and Lyle Närvänen (Leningrad Cowboys). And this album is hard to beat in terms of authenticity, as it sets Zöller's rock'n'roll life to music word for word. The first "historic rock album", so to speak! On tour, this exceptional line-up is complemented by none other than Tony Carey on keyboards (Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow), who wrote the global hit "Room with a view"!

With “Da da da dam”, “Money Joe” and “Mir zwei, mir künnte Fraue han” there are three songs on the album with Wolfgang Niedecken as a guest singer. “Mir zwei...” is already known as a duet by Niedecken and Zöller from numerous BAP concerts. And “Da da da dam” will be released from the album as a radio single and video (also “feat. Wolfgang Niedecken”) in time for the album’s release. Rock’n Roll at its best!
